Im IgM produzierenden B-Lymphozyt fand die Rekombination und Bildung des V-D-J Komplexes statt und alle IGHC Gene sind noch vorhanden. Beim Klassenwechsel findet eine weitere Rekombination zwischen den beiden S-Sequenzen statt, die eine Entfernung der IGHC Gene am 5' Ende des verwendeten IGHC Gens zur Folge hat.
