Restrictions on bot usage

IMGT has long authorized the use of scripts on its pages and databases. Unfortunately, the emergence of aggressive bots, poorly configured scripts, and malicious acts have caused problems with our IT infrastructure and malfunctions. This has forced us to review our bot usage policy.
A bot filter (Capjs) has been implemented on LIGM-DB and might soon be implemented on other databases, ensuring everyone has equal access to resources.
In addition, a rate limit has been implemented to prevent abuse. Users reaching the rate limit too often would be temporarily banned.
Regarding scripts, APIs are available to retrieve information from databases in a fair manner.
