Assignment of rearranged cDNAs and gDNAs to germline genes: Human TRGV

In this table are listed representative rearranged complementary DNAs (cDNAs) and genomic DNAs (gDNAs).

Rearranged cDNAs (#c) and gDNAs (#g) TRGV sequences have been assigned to IMGT TRGV genes and alleles as described in Germline gene tables, Alignments of alleles and Tables of alleles. Assignments were performed using IMGT/V-QUEST.

p3': partial in 3', p5': partial in 5' (more than 10 amino acids missing in 5').
#: rearranged, #c: rearranged cDNA, #g: rearranged genomic DNA.

IMGT notes:
(1) HGP01 (M27338) has an undefined sequence from position AA74 to AA109 (IMGT numbering).
(2) No J-SEGMENT in this transcript. An unusual splicing involves a cryptic DONOR_SPLICE located within TRGV11 and the TRGC ACCEPTOR_SPLICE site ([18]).
(3) IDP2.11 (M16768) has 3 nucleotide mutations (a14>g, E5>G; a18>g; c22>g, Q8>E) compared to TRGV9*01 (X07205), which are probably reverse transcriptase errors ([9]).
(4) E103 (S60175) has 2 nucleotide mutations (t131>a, g132>c, H44>L) which correspond to point mutations introduced into the primer to create a PstI restriction enzyme site ([15]).
(5) + indicates in-frame JUNCTION, - indicates out-of-frame JUNCTION, a blank indicates not defined.
