Dear IMGT user,
We receive many congratulation messages that are very supportive of our work.
Your support is very helpful to obtain funding for the salaries of the IMGT annotators.
Many thanks to the authors of the messages for agreeing to have their message made publicly available, on the IMGT Web site, in the IMGT Livre d'Or http://www.imgt.org.
Best regards
The IMGT team

Hi Marie,
Hope all is well.
My name is Dr John Miles and I'm a TcR biologist from Australia. We communicated last year about a new TRAJ gene variant we found. Incidentally, Thanks for adding it to the IMGT database. It's a fantastic site by the way; I recommend it to all my colleagues. I'm also very found of your books.

Dear IMGT team,
I am a frequent user of the IMGT web-site and its many useful software tools and data representations.
IMGT is an excellent reference in the immunology field due to its high quality, coherent systematics, user friendly interfaces, free accessibility as well as the frequent updates. For many of the web-tools automated processing is facilitated by distributing curated and structured data for local use (e.g. reference directory) as well as by providing the option of textual outputs.
Thanks for your work!!!

Hi Marie-Paule,
In stumbling across the IMGT website, while being a former Protein Data Bank user, I must express my gratitude for the work that has gone into producing this database.
The level of information contained in these pages are astounding, especially if you know what you are looking for. It makes it a lot easier for me to not have to sieve through Kabat's many volumes just to find out the VDJ combinations. Once again, for those who have used this resource and have not expressed their gratitude, I would like to thank you for them as well. Thank you to you and your team!

I would like to congratulate Prof. Marie-Paule Lefranc and her team by the initiative and effort in the coordination of the IMGT information system.
I have followed the effort of Marie-Paule Lefranc since the early phases of the IMGT Data Base when I was a post-doc working with Marie-Paule at CNRS of Montpellier (1992-1994).
Once back to my lab. at University of São Paulo, campus of Ribeirão Preto, Brazil, in 1994, myself and my students have used with interest the IMGT Data Base as a indispensable tool to our studies and research on molecular genetics of immunoglobulins and T-cell receptors.
Today, in practice, is impossible to work on molecular immunogenetics without to follow the IMGT Data Base Web site.
