NUMEROTATION

The 'NUMEROTATION' axiom is one of the seven axioms of the Formal IMGT-ONTOLOGY or IMGT-Kaleidoscope [1-3].

The 'NUMEROTATION' axiom postulates that molecules, cells, organs, organisms and populations and their processes and relations have to be numbered. In molecular immunogenetics, the 'NUMEROTATION' axiom postulates that IG, TR and MHC sequences have to be numbered in one or several dimensional space. The 'NUMEROTATION' axiom has generated concepts of numerotation, for example:
